First of all I want to point out that there is exactly a month before Graduation! exciting and sad all at the same time.

Anyways...

Core was very interesting this morning...first of all we did it an hour earlier then planned and, my expectations of what core was going to be was so wrong!   

by the way the email we got went a little like this,

What: Core
When: 6:50am-7:45am (you may want to get B-fast early and eat it or save it for after core)
Where: Dorm
With: 
    -Yourself: dressed in athletic clothes, hair pulled up (ie: a pony)
    -Buckets (like what you'd use for a car wash
    -a piece (just a piece) of paper ( like notebook) and a colored pencil 

oh it also said.

I love you all and thank you for trusting me...honestly. This is going to be a great core meeting; please come willing to have a good time and learn what the Lord has been placing on my heart for you.

So we get up early and get ready to go with no idea what we are going to.  we go fill up are buckets with water and then went down to the volley ball court (sand volleyball court)  we looked at the the sun and closed are eyes, and then we sat down and closed our eyes, then Shay and Darlene came behind us and threw water and sand on us and said "CHARGE!"   that is what I looked like!

then...

dirty that is what happen, I got all dirty!  Sand and water just shouldn't mix, plus they shouldn't be on me.

  well I can say that it was a lot of fun and I enjoyed it, except the fact that I got dirty *for those you that don't know me very well I am a big clean freak, I hate getting dirty!*

it is so weird how life goes by so quick...one moment you start something and then the next its over ((or in this case almost over))  I can't believe how fast the year has gone!  it feels like yesturday I just got here to the HA and now 5 weeks from now ~my roommate pointed that out~ I will be going back home to the dry Heat of AZ.  (pray for the forest fires that are going on in AZ.) thanks!

so this last week I have been just reflecting off my year here at the HA, and I can say that it has been a great one, very exciting stretching year that I will never foget.

God is so great.

he always takes care of me.

I love him a lot!

Sarah, Darlene and Shayna came home yestuday, yeah!  Ashley and Alisha are still out but they will be joining us shortly, I miss them dearly. 

I am realizing more and more everyday how much my core means to me, and how much of a blessing they are in my life.  We have all done our share of going on vacation, and I missed people then, but this time was so much different since the end of the year is approaching.  this time when I saw their faces last night after not seeing them for awhile, my heart just leaped for joy, knowing they were safely back in my presence. 

I am learning so much about love, and how i just need to talk a hold of today enjoy the time I have with people, because come August I am not going to see these faces for some time!  You girls mean so much to me and I really appreciate and cherish all the times we have had this year.  I look forward to all the memories that we are going to share over the next month and a half!
